Since it’s original release in 2000, the Air Jordan 15 “Obsidian” returns. The Jordan 15 was the first shoe released after MJ’s final retirement.

The upper is comprised of checkerboard woven nylon in Obisidan Blue combined with a blue leather tab that runs from the midfoot to toebox. A white serrated rubber heel provides stability while a Nike Zoom Air unit gives responsive cushioning. One of the more recognizable features, the protruding tongue, is present in a white mesh with Jumpman logo.

Definitely one of the more abstract Jordan’s, this show was inspired by 1950’s X-15 fighter jets. This silhouette was also one of Tinker Hatfield’s last designs. Starting March 4, look for these to hit retailers.
